DNN7

This module hasn't been updated in while. Does anyone use this module with DNN7 or know if it works with 7+?

Using DNN 7.3.4 and the jobs aren't done even if they are setup in Scheduler correctly.

Even if I run a job manually it doesn't execute as I get the result as "0 rows affected" and the number of entries in the Event Viewer stays put.
The history also shows the same result.

What is the execution duration in the scheduler history?

Any errors in the event log?

Do you have an object qualifier installed

Mitchell,
  1. When I manually click a job to be executed the time is 0.02 second.
  2. No errors in the Event Log
  3. Yes, I do have an object qualifier in my DB tables names.
Some observation to add:
  1. Your task is not titled so whenever I try to add a name to it, after starting a job and viewing history I get an error message to click to install a required component. Then a task without a name shows up in the lists of tasks.
  2. Whenever I change the frequency of the task I also get a message to install a required component - it looks as though the task is hardcoded to be executed once every 30 minutes.

What version of DNN? This is very unusual.

I have 7.3.4 on my production server and 7.4 on dev one. Both show the same behavior.

As I said there weren't any logs in the Event Viewer but when checking the history of ICG_SJ_TruncateEventLog script I noted the Error: "Cannot truncate table 'dbo.green_dnn_EventLog' because it is being referenced by a FOREIGN KEY constraint."

Ah yes. There was a change in 740 where this script will no longer work. I'm working on a fix

Hi Mitchell, I use the module also and could use an updated version that works with 7.4. When do you think it is ready? Thanks

Hello Mitchell,

Any progress with the module for DNN 7.4?

Thanks

There is nothing wrong with the module IMHO. I have it installed on 7.4.1 and it does what it supposed to do.

You can't use the truncate eventlog anymore because of changes in DNN 7.4 but you can still use Delete. If you want to use truncate you will need to create a new Stored Procedure for this. See https://dnnscript.codeplex.com/releases/view/612643.

Hope this helped.
